OK, so it's not as far as the London-Brighton run and it's not like running a marathon either, but we're cycling together as Mum and son on this 30km bike ride to try to raise money for children who are less fortunate than we are. James will no doubt end up waiting for me along the way and he insists Mum should be doing more training  (he's right) but we'll give it a go.  Dad and younger brother Guy are acting as support team (not sure what Haribos have to do with it, Guy) and we're all looking forward to a fun family day out on Sunday 20th July.
