The Encephalitis Society is a UK based charity that aims to improve the quality of life of all people affected directly and indirectly by encephalitis. It provides information and support, raises awareness about the condition and its subsequent problems and promotes research into encephalitis.

Encephalitis means inflammation of the brain and is a devastating neurological illness. Despite this, the causes, prevention, treatment and outcomes are not well understood. Although viruses are the most important known cause, in most cases a cause is never found.

Please help sponsor the Encephalitis Society who do amazing work to support people and their families affected by encephalitis. They also have an active role in research and raising the much-needed awareness about this disease. You can help make a difference!
