Hello!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. As some of you already know, I've agreed to run the Sheffield half marathon this year. I'll be running to raise money for the South Yorkshire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in Rotherham, one of the places where i'm currently working as a physio.

The Therapy Centre offers people with MS, their families and carers, a chance to benefit from a variety of non-intrusive, holistic, complementary therapies and practical mutual support.

The aim is to help people help themselves, especially in keeping as safe and mobile as possible within the confines of their condition. The therapies on offer include HDOT (high dosage oxygen therapy), physiotherapy, osteopathy, shiatsu, massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, nutritional information, other alternative and beauty therapies and counselling.
It costs over £84,000 a year just to keep the Centre running and, as they receive no government funding, this is raised through donations, grants and a multitude of fundraising initiatives.
