There isn't anybody who hasn't been touched by cancer in some way. My own diagnosis, in January 2012, came about during routine screening. I know how fortunate I am to have early detection and  am now a four year survivor. Continuing to raise money for Cancer Research is my way of giving something back. 

My next fund-raising event is the 5 k Race for Life on 5 June 2016 at Stamford, Lincolnshire.  I am  well enough to run this year (fitness is a different issue) and once again will be joined by Bertie, my dog wearing his pink bandana.
