Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
As most of you know, I had a scuba diving accident in 2005 that left me paralysed from the waist down. Thanks to the fantastic treatment that I received at the Diving Diseases Research Centre in Plymouth, I left the hospital 3 weeks later only using a walking stick. Emma and I were also very grateful for the care and support they gave both of us during my stay. As you can see from the DDRC website, most people that they treat are not divers but patients being treated for cancer or serious infections.
So having made the journey from thinking about adapting the house for a wheelchair to preparing for the London Marathon, not surprisingly the DDRC is one of my chosen charities.
The other charities for which I am raising money are at:

Thank you in anticipation!
