Hi everyone - and hopefully I have thanked everyone personally too by email just recently !!!! with the pressure of having to pay money back ! for those who have not seen me in the past couple of months...... I have lost over 3st now and still going 'sensibly'.  Hannah and I are delighted and so is the spare room that has finally had green storage bags of clothes emptied and sorted !!!  that have been there for '10 years'.  Thank you for all your support always and school are delighted too with the money going directly into Key Stage 2 class for Hannah bits.....   Perhaps the Marathon next year ! or not !!!!!!!!!!!!!  updated 7.5.09.   Site will close in June 09.  Special thanks again to Skinny Captain Christmas and Mrs CC because the knowledge of you taking the '******' out of me kept me 'bun free' more than once xxxx

Updated on 6.03.09 and good news all round (or not round anymore) from 13th Jan 09 have been on the Lighter Life diet and despite hating every minute of it I am over 2st down and hurtling towards the 3st that this site was the incentive with a bit of fundraising for an amazing cause, to get me to loose the weight.  Really noticed the difference this week and people are starting to mention it so delighted.

This site will close end of April when hopefully I will be able to report not only the full 3st but perhaps a bit more towards my final goal.... xxxx  thanks again everyone xxxxx

Updated on 3.11.08 with me feeling like I have let everyone down a bit - my summer holiday from the diet seems to have lapsed into November !!!!!  promise back on the straight and narrow again with Christmas and that little black dress still on the back of the door ! plus my sister and bruv-in-law have gone all 'Lighter Life' and totally cracked it and heaven forbid my sister wants to borrow my size 12's that have been in storage for rather a long time !!!  I am so proud of her but equally mortified.   Watch this space, everyone I am back. - 2st to go still.

Updated on 14.02.08 (just by sheer fluke Valentines day) doing really well but, nasty 2lbs or whatever that is in kilos, just comes off and then goes back on ! determined to make it happen in the next couple of weeks as don't want to let myself and everyone down !  onwards and downwards.... xxxxxx

Please dig deep and sponsor me online to lose the 3st that many a chocolate biscuit has created whilst sitting in GOS when Hannah was born, then again 11 months later when it all went so incrediably wrong for her, then at QEII Welwyn while we waited endlessly to find out about 'funding' and then in Tadworth, Children's Trust where Hannah started to make progress with the intensive programme they gave her and all the wonderful cuddles and friends she made and then several more packets of biscuits while we fought 'twice' yes 'twice' due to the incompentence of the Hertfordshire Local Education Authority to keep Hannah in The Hornsey Trust School which has given her back a quality of life we never expected was possible.  This process with the LEA which has not only cost huge amounts of money and emotional trauma for everyone (friends and family) and as important, time which could have been spent with Hannah and the money spent on all things Hannah - but again back to 'Chocolate' Biscuits....  (I am using chocolate biscuits as a collective name for all things of a sweet !! and actually savoury !! nature).

Joining me is Pamie Everett, Hannah's wonderful god-mum who wants to lose 1st in a healthy way too.......AND.... Pauline Jones a special friend of Hannah's as well.... and my Sister who is doing a special thing as well..... anymore.... ????
