I decided that in my 40th year, it was about time I set myself a challenging goal.  For those that know me, my preferred environment is in comfort, perhaps chatting over a glass of wine than pounding the roads of Sussex and London.  As it draws closer, I wonder why did I choose to run in at the end of October in Portsmouth, when it is bound to be blowing a hoolie and raining? It is a real stretch for me. 

I wanted use this opportunity to raise some money for a charity that I have become passionate about - Mosac, where I have volunteered for 3 years.  Mosac is unique - it is the only charity that works with the non-abusing parents/carers of children who have been sexually abused, helping them to help their children rebuild their shattered lives.
