Story

Hi everyone,

This is my first time I am doing a 10k Manchester Bupa Run followed by a team member of 3: Peter, David and Law.

We will be representing and running for The British Red Cross (Volunteer- led Humanitarian organisation).

Why am i doing it?

Personally, I believe that we should spare a moment of effort to help others if we can, whom are suffering physically, internally without a choice or a voice.

Therefore, since I can't be there (i.e. in Japan to help) due to work and personal commitments.

I came up with a last minute plan to train hard, raise the money hard and run the race hard with my team to fund The Red Cross Society whom can be there to help the people who are much less fortunate than we are. That is the least I can do.

Who are The British Red Cross Organisation?

1) Helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.

2) They enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities.

3) After the crisis, they help people to recover and move on with their lives. (Japan Tsumani, Middle East violence, Haiti, New Zealand Earthquakes, Brazil and Pakistan flood).

4) Activities: First aid training tips/campaign, preparing for disasters, finding missing family, teaching resource, health and social care at home or overseas, protecting people in conflict and refugee services.

How do I know if the fund I donate is secure and being received?

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Why should I donate?

So please, dig deep in your pockets and helps those children and adults who have:

No to little food, shelter, medical supplies, a family, a education and etc. Your penny/s can make a difference to rebuild their lives, and improve their lives.

Thank you all, for sharing a moment in visiting my JustGive page. I really appreciate your time and effort to hear me out.

=o))
