My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Camsight is a local charity which supports people with sight loss, a condition which can affect anyone from any walk of life, young or old. The charity depends totally on donation and provides services which no other organisation can.
As this is Camsight's centenary year, it seemed like a good idea (at the time) to do a sponsored 100 mile cycle ride visiting the village groups which I have set up over the last 11 years. In return for this Herculean effort, we are hoping to raise as much as possible to help continue essential support that Camsight currently provides.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.

Utterly Amazing over £2000.00 and growing. We are going to be able to help so many people whilst in Hospital or those who are unable to afford the most important items such as talking clocks, liquid level indicators and lighting. Thank you so very much.
Well it's Thursday morning and I can't believe its over. What a fantastic experience with some amazing people. Please donate if you can as we are nearly at the £2000 mark, thank you
Well Folks it's Mon eve and I just hope I've done everything in readiness for tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in one way and another and to our brilliant volunteer cyclists. Hope the weather is calm and dry. Jools :-)
Gail and I need a medal or locking up today! The wind was unbelievablly strong and it was b****y hard work, still it is for a good cause.
Out this morning and the weather was perfect. About 30 miles today and feeling comfortable. Just need the 19th and 20th to be fine. Cross your fingers
