I must be mad! But on September 26th 2010 i am running a half marathon in London.
My Mum was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour in 2006 and unfortunately passed away in 2008.
Therefore i have decided to run for the charity 'Brain Tumour UK'.
In the UK, 49 people every day receive the devastating and too often life-threatening diagnosis that they have a brain tumour. The services which Brain Tumour UK provide and research projects cost a great deal of money and without funds would be unable to keep them going. Please do all you can to donate today.
BRAIN TUMOUR UK WORK TO
- Increase awareness and knowledge of brain tumours and research into the disease
- Improve access to information and support, and enhance treatment and care
- Raise money to fund an extensive programme of research, education and support
