My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I decided to take part in the Big Fun Run to raise some sponsorship money for the Woodlands Hospice.

My Mum Joan Morris was diagnosed with Kidney and Liver Cancer July 06 and shortly after starting going to the Hospice on a Thursday. She met some lovely people and made many good friends. Sadly alot of them have now passed away. The Woodlands Hospice have great staff who work to help the patients in many ways. My mum thoroughly enjoyed those Thursdays, she learnt to paint, be creative something she thought she never was. She suprised us all! For those few hours she could talk to people who were going through similar things and it helped her to come to terms with what she was going through.

I can't thank them enough for making the time she had left enjoyable and hope that my donations can help a little bit in showing our appreciation for all their good work and effort.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Woodlands Hospice Charitable Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
