Running has always been a big part of my life and when I joined Ricky Running Sisters it was great not having to run on my own anymore, I have made some really good friends, but last year my dad died and I found it really difficult to motivate myself to run, I decided that I needed a goal I have always wanted to run the marathon so with a little help from my friend Jayne I got a place running for a charity called Afasic which helps children and young people with speech and language difficulty helping them develop language and social skills and it supports them at key points of transition in their lives.                                                                       

So I am running for all those wonderful children out there and for the memory of my dad.

So please help me to help them and dig really deep in your pockets.
