I am raising money in memory of my mum who died december 2007 from pulmonary fibrosis .She was young at 68 having led an active life and never smoked   .Despite always being a huge worrier especially with regard to health she fought hard and with huge courage an illness she was never going to conquer .

She found support and advice at the local Breatheasy group and I wish to support this charity to continue in this work .

I am on the 14th june cycling the cyclone challenge -a 62 mile day cycle starting at newcastle and into the nothumbrian hills and although I am sure I will get very breathless  it will be nothing in comparison to the daily challenge  and breathlessness my mum suffered
