As a midwife I often care for families who have been affected by the problems that Tommy's fund research into.  I feel privileged to be given the chance to help by being part of their team in the next Flora London Marathon. I wont let you or Tommy's down. I'm doing well with my training programme, steadily increasing my weekly mileage to prepare me for the challenge of 26.2 miles.  I must be mad!!

Marathon is on 22nd April 07 and I will be flying to Australia next day for my stepdaughter Kirsty's wedding on the 28th. I may have to be carried onto the plane if my poor little legs have had it. I'd better order a suitcase full of Ibruprofen and a wheelchair in advance!!
