The Xtreme Snowdonia Challenge 'Sea to Summit' 2010 · 26 June 2010 ·

The Intensive Care Society is the largest multi-professional intensive care body in the UK. We support the entire intensive care community as they care for the sickest of patients. We exist to improve the lives of those teams by providing research, guidance, education, wellbeing and a lot more.

Story

On Saturday 26th June 2010 we - Julie, Fiona, Ladan and Jenny  - are going to attempt the Xtreme Snowdonia Challenge in aid of the Intensive Care Foundation.  The challenge will take us from the beach at Llanfairfechan via the Carneddau and the summit of Snowdon  back to Llanberis.  A total of 24.7 miles but, more importantly, a total ascent of 5324 feet!!!  We need to complete it within 11 hours to make the prize giving and BBQ!  Julie's cousin is involved with the foundation and organisation of the event.  All funds raised will go towards supporting critical care research as the cost of the event is born by the foundation.  Any donations would be gratefully received.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
