Thank you everyone for your support, I completed the walkathon in 7 hours 20 minutes and am delighted to have raised funds for the Ellenor Lions Hospice.
I took part in the Walkathon which is approximately 24+ miles. It started at the concourse of the Tower of London and finished at The Lions Hospice in Northfleet.
I took part because it is a great organisation and facility. Over 80% of funds have to come from donations.
The Hospice gave fantastic care to my Dad, Brian, in 2004, I undertook this challenge in his memory and to give support back to the Hospice.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Ellenor and Lions Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
