Brake Jump for Safety · 20 January 2009

Brake is a national road safety charity that cares for road victims and campaigns for safer roads for all. Brake's National Road Victim Service is a specialist support service to help families cope with the shock, turmoil and devastation that road crashes cause families across the UK every day.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Brake, the road safety charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Every day 70 people are killed or seriously injured on Britain's roads, many of them children and young people. To highlight this apalling carnage and raise funds for families devastated by these tragedies, some brave employees from Balfour Beatty Plant & Fleet Services are leading the way by signing up to do a 10,000 feet parachute jump for Brake. There will be a total of 70 volunteers jumping throughout June at 20 locations around the UK.

Please give genourously as all of your sponsorship money will be going to a very worthy cause.
