My story

 

There will be NO jump tomorrow (Sunday 10th August ) due  high winds. We are planning on doing it next Sunday, so again please check the website next Saturday to find out if the weather will let us do it! xx

On the 26th April 2007, my little brother Harrys life ended in one day from the terrible disease, Meningitis.  With no obvious symptons other than a normal cold, no one could of prepared us for what that one day brought.  As a family we are still coming to terms with a life without Harry.

To mark the first year of Harrys death I wanted to do something in memory of him and to honour the life he once had, and of course to raise money to help find a cure, to stop other families having to deal with the loss, pain and confusion that we have suffered.

Myself, my sister Jenny and a my friend Louise Coleborn will be jumping out of a plane from 3,000 feet, with only ourselves and a cord to pull our parachute - otherwise known as a static line jump on the 27th April after a full days worth of training on the 26th up at Booker (nr. High Wycombe) airfield.  We will be jumping down to Harry from just outside Marlow.  We have specifically chosen this location so as many people as possible can come and watch us mark the first anniversary, along with the Mills family.  (Please see the link at the top for directions)

I know that many of you will want to give something to mark his first anniversary, so please donate towards this.

We need to raise a minimum of £510 and are hoping to raise at least a £1000.

I know that myself and my family are amazed at the amount of support that people have given, so please feel free to donate, leave a comment and come down and watch us jump for my very much loved and missed little brother.
