On 12 July 2008 at the end of Dementia Awareness Week 5 brave staff from the Alzheimer’s Society & Yuan the bear will be jumping out of a plane at 10,000 ft. Course with a parachute!

Lucy, Rowena, Yvonne, Alison and Ama collectively known as Alz Angels & Yuan the Bear are acting above and beyond their call of duty; defiantly not in job description to jump out of a plane! All have decided that they want to do their bit in helping to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Society

There are 700,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to one million by 2025.
1 in 3 people will die with dementia
