After walking Hadrian's Wall last year, I thought it was time to do a challenge slightly closer to home! So, between May 24th and May 30th, I'm going to be walking the length of the Jurassic Coast. My 113 mile walk starts just outside Swanage in Dorset, and finishes up in Exmouth.
I'm raising money to support SIFT's fantastic health clinics in Nicaragua. Every week Dr Sandra and her team of nurses bring everyday healthcare to rural communities on the volcanic island of Ometepe, in Lake Nicaragua. It's the kind of health service that we take for granted here in the UK, and that really makes a difference to the lives of the poor. You can have a look at the photos in the gallery below to see Dr Sandra and her team in action.
I'm hoping to raise at least £1,500 through this challenge, which will provide free medicines for two months for everyone who comes to our clinics.
