Story

The past and present choirs and bands of St Augustine's RC High School, Billington, are reuniting in a celebration of music to raise funds for a community in desperate need of water.

Water is something many take for granted, but for some it is a daily struggle to find enough to survive.

With your help, they will be able to build reservoirs and water pipes so that they can grow crops and become more independent, giving a better chance for survival and a better future.

More here from Cafod on where the money is going: "In Sebeya, in the north of Ethiopia, drought threatens hundreds of families who rely on farming for survival. The community is fighting back. Local people are building reservoirs and water pipes to keep the fields green and improve the harvests."
