Story
Well if you have come this far you must be feeling generous or noisey ;0) and want to donate some money.
Last year we (Me, Vicky, Craig & Matty) raised £1,156.40 (inc gift aid) for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust which was truly amazing, this year I want to donate specifically to The Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit based at Wythenshawe Hospital.
For those of you close to me you know why this unit and charity is so important to me and our family.
If you don't then here is some information, Cystic fibrosis is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system.
People with cystic fibrosis face a lifelong challenge, involving vast daily intakes of drugs, time-consuming physiotherapy and isolation from others with the condition, just to stay healthy.
1 in 25 of the UK population carries the faulty cystic fibrosis gene, most without knowing it. If two carriers have a child together there is a 1 in 4 chance the baby will be born with cystic fibrosis
So please dig deep and donate now.
