Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have chosen to take part in the KM abseil challenge in aid of Music for Change as my daughter is a bit of a chicken and decided she couldn't bring herself to do it! My daughter Morgan has volunteered and worked with Music for Change for over a year and a half, in this time she has filled me in on the great work they do!

Music for Change is an educational arts organisation and charity that give people opportunities to access high quality music making activity and performances. Their work is as necessary today as it was when the organisation started in 1997 for two very good reasons: Firstly, their work encourages understanding and empathy in a world that remains divided by borders and racial prejudice. Secondly, is good for people and their well-being; it is fun, develops people’s confidence and helps build a sense of community whilst enabling people to access high-quality musical activity. Their projects and workshops are for people of all ages, giving them the opportunity to access enjoyable music and dance activities. They often work with people in deprived areas or vulnerable groups at risk of exclusion.

For more info and to see some of the great projects the run have a look at their website www.musicforchange.org

If you choose to sponsor me, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the KM Charity Team to be counted for and then transfered to Music for Change.

Please donate as much or as little as you can for this great charity!

Thanks,

Justin
