Update: Thank you all again for your support. I successfully completed the marathon in 3 hours 59 minutes and 21 seconds and had a thoroughly great day. The page is open for a few more days so there's still time to sponsor me. If you have already thanks again.

Dear family and friends, Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. If you’ve found your way here then you must be interested in sponsoring me so please give generously. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (Astro Fund) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Why the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (Astrofund) 5 years ago my brother Sam was diagnosed with a brain tumour (a low grade glioma) at the age of 22. Sam had an operation to remove the tumour; unfortunately it grew back requiring further surgery earlier this year. The surgery appears to have removed the tumour, we now have to wait to see if it has been successful – there is a chance it will grow back again. The SDBTT (Astrofund) was an easy choice – they’re looking for a cure. About the SDBTT (Astrofund) SDBTT exists to find a cure for childhood and adult Brain Tumours through funding research and to offer support, hope and information to patients and their carers. The SDBTT Astro Fund (www.astrofund.org.uk) is a restricted fund within the SDBTT, which ensures that every penny raised by Astro Fund supporters is designated only to research projects focussing on low grade gliomas, or to the support of those people affected by them. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support. Training for a marathon is actually staggeringly hard so every penny will not only go to a great cause, it’ll help me get through the next few weeks Thank you and I hope to see you on 13th April in London. Take care, Justin
