I'm off to ride up a mountain in August. Given so far the biggest climb of the year is up ladbroke grove this is more of a challenge than it should be.
The mountain is Mont Ventoux, I'll be heading up the Bedoin ascent which is about 1500m of climbing and it will be nice and warm at this time of year. It's all pretty heroic of course.
Admittedly I'd quite like to do it anyway, but the good bit is that I'll be raising money for the Mudchute, Europe's biggest urban farm set on a 35 acre park that provides amazing opportunities for the community around it, in particular for young people and in education.
It's a great trip too if you haven't been, hop on the DLR to Mudchute station, and you're there.
