CASPA London To Paris Bike Ride · 15 July 2008

CASPA is an award-winning charity that encourages autistic pride and supports autistic people to learn life skills, self-advocate and make safe and inclusive community connections. Your donation helps us build a society where autistic people feel understood and empowered to live their best lives.

Story

WOW! - We have been really impressed by the response to this and though we thought we'd set an ambitious figure we've already all but raised it. Please don't let that stop you - We'd love to smash this target and raise £1000, for this really good cause!

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. On the 4th of August 2008, 6 intrepid chaps, ranging from the fighting fit to the plain chubby, will be riding 300 miles, over 4 days, completely unofficially and without support.  This is normally an arduous and challenging event, but those of you who know the personnel involved will appreciate the size of the challenge involved in this instance.

Which is why it's handy that we're riding for CASPA, The Children on the autistic spectrum parents association. This is a great organisation, helping children on the autistic spectrum, and working with their parents, to help over come the complex difficulties associated with Autism. This is a great organisation and an issue close to our hearts. Your dontations will be sensibly used and a great spur to us as we change our last remaining inner tube in the pouring rain, 30 miles into the 60 mile final day!

Please give generously .
