1EID IS BACK AND PLANNING TO BE BIGGER THEN EVER! INSHA'ALLAH
I have pledged to raise £1000 for 1Eid for Eid al-Adha event in , December 2008, insha-Allah, and would like to invite you to help me and gain the rewards of uniting several thousand people in salah.
I wasn’t there last year but, insha-Allah, I hope to be there this year, which is why I have volunteered to raise funds, insha-Allah. Last year the demand for the event was HUGE! The estimated 3000 boomed to over 12,500. Food ran out pretty quickly but the sight of seeing hundreds of kids playing together ON EID (NOT several weeks later) was a sight not to be forgotten (or missed).
Alhumdulillah, for one year at least these children’s’ Eid was better than their Christmas or Halloween. Can we help make that a second year in a row? Can we all come together and celebrate Eid according to the Sunnah? Help revive the Sunnah of praying outside the Masjid!
To the women, I’m sure you would all prefer a change for Eid, support the Project and help revive the Sunnah of the women praying the Eid Salah. Don’t be left at home to cook for the men. It’s against the Sunnah! The Prophet SAW ordered us to bring the women, even the menstruating women so they can listen to at least the khutbah, and feel part of the Ummah.
To all you uni students who have nothing to do with your time. Use all the energy you have to volunteer or raise money for the Project, instead of lazing around changing the TV channel, or playing that football game on your consoles!

The Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “The feet of a servant will not move on the Day of Judgment until he has been questioned about four things): his life - how he spent it, his knowledge - how he acted upon it, his wealth - where he earned it and how he spent it, and his body - how he used it.” (Tirmidhi, Kitab sifat al Qiyamah wal Raqa’iq)
Well, without your support, Eid won’t be happening like it did last year!
Chip in; even if its only small change, those of you who want to earn the rewards of the aimed 20-30,000 peoples’ Eid Salah help the 1Eid Project.
