In December 2010 we sadly spent time in the Forget Me Not room at Broomfield Hospital where we had our beautiful baby boy, Kamden Horace Arnold. We spent just 15 very precious hours with him.
This room on the labour ward is used for Mummy’s and Daddy’s whose babies are born still or die shortly after birth.
The 'Forget Me Not Room' is in use almost ever day
The room has a Double bed so both parents can stay together during this sad time and spend precious time with their baby before saying goodbye.
For 4 days we spent almost every hour in this room waiting for our little man to arrive and we remained in there once he was born. It became our home. Somewere I felt totally comfortable, the only place i was ever able to hold my baby boy in my arms.
Your money will go towards purchasing items to make this room, which became our home for 4 days, a little more comfy for parents going through a truly devastating time.
Items such as a sofa, throws, cushions, a television, Cd player and photographs for the walls are just some of the items the money rased will go towards, to to create a nicer place for bereaved parents.
