Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Well I can't get out of it now, I'll be taking part in the Mexico Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge next March in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief. Looking at the training schedule though, I perhaps should try to :)

The challenge itself is to cycle 600km in 8 days across from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean. More information here: www.macmillan.org.uk/mexico

It is all in a good cause, my dad was diagnosed with cancer last year, fortunately through treatment things are looking a lot better this year. But just like the Cancer Research run4fun I did back in May I feel like I should be doing my bit.

Suggested training routines include building up to doing 120 miles in the weeks before leaving. That's a lot. Those of you that have met me will know this will be quite a challenge for me, I'm no Chris Boardman, so if you feel like you would like to sponsor me you can do so via this page.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Relief will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. All money donated will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Relief, no money donated will go towards costs. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support.
