My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have chosen The Clink as they are working hard to change the public perception of offenders. They train them up to a high standard in cookery and front of house. The graduates are found good jobs in the hospitality industry enabling the opportunity to have a second chance at life. We are all 2 wrong decicions from finding yourself behind bars, some people end up there for defending themselves or through bad choice in friends (usually down to poverty & being brought up in rough areas) that doesn't mean these are bad people and should be scrubbed from society all together. The Clink endeavour to reduce the rates of re-offending and to give the people that truly want to change their lives the chance to do just that. 

So please dig deep and donate now.

The charity runs training restaurants in prisons to help reduce the rate of re-offending. This is done by enabling inmates to gain qualifications and real life experience in the hospitality industry with a view to getting them employment, mentoring and housing where required upon their release.
