Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Long story short, I'm going skydiving! It's called The Great Warwick Jump 2011. It happens every year and is aimed at raising money for charity.
Having not done much charity work in the past, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to choose a trust close to mine and my family's heart, Cancer Research UK. I'm sure you've all heard of it, and its goal is simple...to help prevent, treat and eventually CURE CANCER.

The big day's 12th March 2011...
After going up to an airfield in North Lincolnshire...
...and just 30 minutes of training from an instructor...
...we fly up to 12,500 feet...
...and go for it!
The free-fall lasts for 45 seconds, after which the parachute's opened to help us gently PLUMMET 5 minutes to the ground! =]

Clearly I'm not one to be scared of heights, and many of you might even find what I'm doing a bit dangerous, but being a first time skydiver, it'll be a tandem skydive that I perform, which means I'll be strapped to a professional from all the way, til my feet are safely on the ground.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Gift Aid is also reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
Thanks for your time (and donations!)
