How many people do you know mad enough to run the marathon in under 5 hours while singing Karaoke with only six weeks of training (because he also had to manage the biggest ever IT business transformation program for Shell)?

How often do you get a chance to save children's lives?  I hope you can help me and Cystic Fibrosis - the biggest inherited life threatening disease.  Of the 5 babies born each week with Cystic Fibrosis 3 will die.  The average life expectancy is 31 and rising thanks to new gene therapy which we hope will deliver a cure by 2009.
