Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 20th September 2009 I'm doing the Great North Run half marathon. I'm running in memory of my grandfather, James Stamper, who died last Christmas. I'm raising money for Hospice at Home West Cumbria, a charity that provide palliative care to terminally ill patients, and give help and support to their family. Last December, the Hospice at Home nurses came to my grandparent's home and cared for my grandfather during the nights before he died so that the family could get some much needed rest. Thanks to these nurses my grandfather was able to remain at home until he died and our family felt greatly supported through this difficult period.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Remember every little helps, so even if you can only spare a couple of quid I'll be grateful!

Thank you for your genorosity,

Kathryn
