Story
Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues,
I am writing to you to ask you a huge favour. You all know what makes Alex special. He is a very precious little boy who has to work very hard to achieve life skills that you and I take for granted and it's heart breaking to know that he wants to do everything that his twin sister does, but just isn't able to.
We were however so lucky to find the perfect school to help Alex which is The PACE Centre (http://www.thepacecentre.org) who have helped Alex achieve much more than we and all of his doctors, Ocupational Therapists, Physio's and even Great Ormond Street Consultans could have ever imagined possible.
Through their dedication in ensuring every disabled child that comes to them is able to achieve their highest potential, whatever that is, they help to transform lives, literally.
Now, Alex needs your help. In true Olympic style, the children of PACE are participating in their own personal challenges to help raise much needed funds for his School which is a registered charity to be able to continue the good work that they do. They are holding their own Children's Challenge at Stoke Mandeville Stadium on the 24th May, and Alex has been set his own challenge which is by using of his walking frame he must kick a football and score a goal. Something that every mum and dad would love to see their little boy do. We realy did not ever expect to see this and we are so proud of our little man.
By clicking on donate button, you have the ability to change children’s lives, it really is that easy. please click through and help make a difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, Bruno and I are very grateful for anything you can donate to this fabulous school.
I wish you all the best and will let you know how he gets on.
Lots of love
Karen Cianfini-Layzell
