<p>On January 22nd, 23rd & 24th 2011 I was part of a team of EFTC supporters who took on a BIG fund raising challenge.</p>
<p>NEWS FLASH...... I did it, it was a one in a lifetime experience.... truly amazing and for such a great cause..x</p>

<p> I along with nine others climbed 3 of Guatemala's most extreme volcanoes. Pacaya (2552m) Acatenago (3976m) & Fuego (3763m) in 3 days.</p>
<p>The challenge involved trekking by day and camping on the volcanic slopes by night which was both a physical & mental test for us all!</p>
<p>The volcanoes surround the town of Antigua in Central America where the EFTC schools are based.</p>
<p>I have already spent time at the schools and know first hand that the money I am able to raise will really make a massive difference. It will help to pay for the education, food, healthcare and shelter for many children from backgrounds of extreme poverty. </p>
