My story

 

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

To celebrate my recent retirement I have planned a big adventure: to sail the Atlantic! On 23rd October 2009 I will be fulfilling a life long ambition when I set sail from Dartmouth on board Bold Explorer, a 46 foot steel yatch, with 3 other crew and a skipper.  The journey will take me via Madeira, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde before finally dropping anchor in the Virgin Islands in late December.

I plan to raise lots of money for the educational work of the Queen’s Nursing Institute, the charity that supports community nurses in the UK. Please sponsor me so that I can continue to improve education for community nurses.
