And who is Ocean?...Ocean is my great nephew.
So what's Ocean got to do with the Great Glen Way? ...You can see Ocean in the picture. He's a cracker, isn't he? In fact he looks the picture of health, don't you think?
But Ocean was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at two months old, and since then, his mother, father and two older brothers have devoted themselves tirelessly to ensuring that Ocean has a thriving and fulfilling future.
In September, I will be walking a long way, how long depends on you - it could be the 76 mile long Great Glen Way, or the 260 miles of the Pennine Way, because I hope, with your sponsorship, to be able to contribute to Ocean's future, and that of the many children suffering from the UK's most common inherited life-threatening disease.
The deal is this - the more you pledge, the further I walk!!! Simple, huh? If the fundraising target above of £1,000 is attained, I'll walk up to 100 miles, if £2000 is exceeded, I'll walk 200+ miles. So, please dig deep and sponsor me online.
