Story
You may think the Himalayas 100 mile stage race was slightly mad, well try this one.
A few of you may know, or even have experienced the fact that I have a bit of a problem with heights. That includes: glass-sided lifts, upstairs on buses, offices with windows to floor level, standing on chairs, open-mesh metal stairways. Right?
You may also know I'm going on a nice, extended trip to Australia, starting in Sydney.
Have you guessed what it is yet?
Yes, the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb. I figure it's a case of kill or cure, hopefully the latter but my best friend has already bagsied the cat in case not. So, I'll be starting the 'experience' at 10.25am on Monday 30 October 2006, it should take 3.5 hours in total. The summit is 134 metres above water level, I didn't check if the tide was going to be in or not.
Think of me (remembering the time difference of course) and, if you like to reward stupidity and foolishness of the first order then do, please, feel free to sponsor me in support of Crisis.
