Story

It's that time of the year again folks!  Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I got a bit restless and decided it was time for a new challenge!  So, I'm doing a charity cyce ride from London to Paris.  Mad, I know! Here's a "little" spiel about where your sponsorship will be going......

We, 25000spins, aim to raise over £30,000 for children in poor countries.  25,000 children die each day mainly from preventable causes. These children are not dying from incurable diseases but from illnesses such as diarrhea, pneumonia, measles and malaria; all of which cost pennies to treat or prevent.

My chosen charity is ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency) UK. It exists for the specific purpose of community development and disaster relief in over 120 countries including the UK.  You can visit the website at www.adrauk.org.

100% of the money you donate goes to charity.  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

On 21 July we will cycle to Newhaven and take the ferry across to Dieppe.  We will cycle through Rouen along the River Sienne to Vernon finishing at the Eiffel Tower in time to celebrate the end of Tour de France on 25 July.

Thank you for your donation.  It is much appreciated.  I'll keep you updated.
