In April 2009, I will be taking part in the London Marathon with the aim of raising £1000 or more for Poole Hospital's new maternity and neo-natal intensive care unit.

Until a few years ago, the only thing that could make me run anywhere was the threat of last orders or missing the last bus home, so the marathon is a bit of a challenge for me! However, I'm training hard and recently completed the Brighton Half Marathon (see picture above of me looking all pleased with myself for proof!) so hopefully I will make it over the finishing line in April!
