On the 16 May this year Charlie Morettes was tragically taken from his family whilst playing rounder’s with his friends at school.
Charlie was a caring and compassionate child who thought about everyone before himself and always wanted to come 1 in every activity that he undertook.
There has been no explanation as to why Charlie was taken in this way. Research shows that eight fit and healthy children such as Charlie die every week with unexplained heart conditions.
CRY supports families that has lost children and also provides research and screening into sudden death in children.
Charlie and our daughter Liberty had been friends since birth. Our lives are not the same without Charlie and there is not a day that passes by when we don’t take a moment to remember is beautiful smile and cheeky sense of humour.
To keep Charlie’s memory alive and celebrate his life I will be running the Flora London Marathon is his memory on the 13 April 2008. I have pledged to raise £1500 for CRY as I want to ensure that other parents to not suffer as Allison and Tony have done.
All funds raised will be going directly to the Charlie Morettes memorial fund.
