Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page...

I thought it was about time that I did something to raise lots of money for charity and opted for a London to Paris bike ride on the 1st July 2009. Starting in Croydon, we cycled to Dover where we caught the ferry to Calais for our first overnight stay. From Calais, we cycled to Arras and then to Compiegne before travelling to Paris where we arrived at the Eiffel Tower. All in all, we cycled 320 miles over four days.

The weather was great; we had no rain at all and temperatures reached the mid 30s, which was exhausting - but the experience was fantastic and made the training hours all the more worthwhile.

My goal is to raise £3000 for the NSPCC. This is is BGL's corporate charity so they will be contributing too. The full amount donated via this page will go to the NSPCC as all costs and fees for the challenge have been met by BGL and myself.

It's got to be worth a few pounds... every little helps!

Thanks in advance, Karen
