My story

 

Hi All, thanks for visiting my fundrasing page.


Yes Believe it or not, call it my mid life crisis, I am going to trek across the Sahara in November 2009! 7 days walking across various terrain, sleeping in tents, walking 10 miles a day sounds great  . . . only problem I can see is how am I going to wash my hair every morning?

Training is underway,  well I have bought some great walking boots, all the advice and information received I have stored, now all that needs to be done is the hard work . . .  the fundraising!  

So please help me out. I am sure that over the seven days and the 100 or so miles I will be walking I must take more than 4'000 steps, so all I am asking for every step I take for The Fostering Networks great work, you match it with a penny a step! 

I promise in return I will bore you senseless with stories and photographs for weeks afterwards!!!
