Following major back surgery (double disc replacement) in September 2007 and reaching the big '40' this year, it is time to start doing some of those things i've always wanted to do, before it's too late.

Having a little boy who is absolutely crazy about the 'Essex Air-Ambulance', i decided that the challenge of the Inca Trail in Peru, October 2009, is definately for me.

I'm doing it to prove to myself that i'm not quite ready for the scrap heap just yet, to make my family and friends proud of me and above all, to raise those all important funds to keep the 'Essex Air-Ambulance' flying.

I've never fundraised before, so if you would kindly like to make a donation, however big or small, i would be extremely grateful.

My minimum target is £3,200 but if i can raise over this amount that would be fantastic.
