I have had diabetes for over 40 years, and currently use a pump.  Diabetes UK helps in the research of treatment and care for this condition.  Without their help I would still be in the dark ages of glass syringes and harpoon gun type needles! 

Unfortunately my younger sister died from complications of diabetes, so Charlotte and I will be walking in her memory too.
