Karl Daymond's Page

Thank you for visiting Karl Daymond's fundraising page for the Kaleidoscope Trust. Karl died suddenly on the 9th of August 2017 and it has been decided that a contribution to an LGBT Charity would be a fitting legacy for a man dedicated to bringing out the best in people.
The Kaleidoscope Trust works with governments around the world to help improve the rights of the global LGBT community.
The Kaleidoscope Trust focuses on the social and political impact of British colonialism on the rights of LGBT communities in former British colonies and current Commonwealth countries. The Trust recognises the discriminatory laws and policies still in place after de-colonisation in these countries, and works closely with ministers and policy makers to improve the rights and lives for members of the LGBT communities within these countries.
Karl was a passionate advocate for fairness, freedom and equality his whole life. The LGBT community was a group very close to Karl's heart. Karl's close family, including his husband Ian, decided that fundraising for this cause would reflect Karl's values perfectly.
Karl's death has evoked shock and heartbreak for so many people in his community, his home town of Chepstow, the music and theatre industry and of anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Ian and Karl's family have received an overwhelming response of love and support from so many people who knew Karl. We created this fundraising page for people to celebrate Karl's life whilst helping to continue his legacy of love, kindness and selflessness.
Throughout his life Karl was vocal about giving everybody a platform to not only express themselves, but to thrive as individuals. The Kaleidoscope Trust works to allow members of the LGBT community to achieve their very best potential by encouraging governments to provide equal rights for all citizens.
Any cash or cheque donations can be sent to the following address, and will be added to the total amount given to the Kaleidoscope Trust.
