Message from the Edridge Fund: We've just heard from Karl that he finished the Marathon in 4 hours 20 minutes - better than he'd anticipated! We'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate Karl and thank him very much for his help with this year's fundraising. By the way, it's not too late to donate! Hi Everybody, This is a plea for your money. I’ve been lucky enough to get a place in this year’s London Marathon and, as Edridge Rep for the Greater Manchester Probation area, any money I raise will be going to the Edridge Fund. For anybody who doesn’t know, Edridge is a welfare fund for Probation and CAFCASS staff. Although I only been Rep for less than a year, I’ve seen it do a lot of good work in my area by helping staff who are experiencing difficulties. The training is going well, despite a few aches and pains - I’m struggling to remember a time when my legs didn’t hurt! I’m sure that the thought of all the money coming rolling in to the Edridge Fund will put a little extra spring in my step. As soon as I finish, I’ll have a drink for all of you when I will start to undo all the months of self-denial and hard work with the same dedication and commitment I’ve shown in my training! Cheers, Karl Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor Karl. The Edridge Fund will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
