Il 23 giugno 2007 Gianni e Maurizio partiranno da Calcutta e percorreranno circa 4000Km, in direzione Leh, sull'Himalaya, a bordo di un rickshaw (l'ApeTaxi indiano) per cercare di raccogliere fondi destinati alla beneficenza. Ogni singolo centesimo donato andrà a MercyCorps, che opera in India attaverso ONG già presenti sul territorio.

In particolare questi soldi verranno utilizzati nel distretto del Darjeeling per la costruzione di nuovi pozzi, per la sanificazione di quelli (pochi) già presenti e per sviluppare il programma PLHA (People Living with HIV/AIDS) che da aiuto e supporto sia medico che amministrativo alle famiglie colpite dal virus dell'AIDS.

Next june, the 23rd, Gianni 6 maurizio will take part at the RickshawRun2007. It's a 4000km trip from Calcutta to Leh, on the Himalayan mountains, driving a rickshaw!

Why that? Simply to collect charity donations for MercyCorps, to help them building up water wells and to give them support on the PLHA (People Living with HIV/AIDS)program in the Darjeeling district.
