Help us raise £1 million to beat breast cancer
Every day, in the UK, 140 women are told "you have breast cancer". Around the world, 10,000 women die from the disease every week.
Our professors in Nottingham and Derby are working on innovative research to detect breast cancer early, stop it spreading and to develop treatments that will help save lives. We've made breast cancer the focus for Nottingham Life Cycle 6 - our annual fundraising campaign.

Nottingham is already home to the world's first blood test to detect lung cancer early and is where the Nottingham Prognostic Index – the global standard used to predict a breast cancer patient's future – was first developed.
