Since April 2009 when our Daughter Alice was first diagnosed with Leukaemia our friends and family have joined us in raising almost £20,000.00 for various charities, namely CLIC Sargent, Leukaemia Research and The Children's Playroom at Bath Royal United Hospital. 

 

We always felt we would like to raise some money for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Bristol Children's Hospital, who cared for Alice so well during her early days of treatment and who do such a wonderful job in caring for so many really sick children.

 

As Alice has now finished her treatment we decided to have one last big fundraising event and make it a big one - and what bigger challenge than to aim to give £20,000.00 to The Peadiatric Intensive Care Unit at Bristol as well as climb 5,895 metres to the 'roof of Africa'.

 

We are a team of friends, some climbing and fundraising whilst others are just concentrating on the fundraising.  We hope to raise this huge amount of money by organising a series of events throughout the year, as well as accepting donations from generous people like yourself.  THANK YOU, from:
